Every Day Counts Therapy Services - Yuba City, CA

About

You decide what life looks like from this point forwards.....

You decide how to live a joyful life, in the face of the widest ocean.....

Therapy gives you the mental and emotional strength to say I am in charge of how my life looks today and tomorrow. I will find joy, in my own time. I will stand amongst the strongest waves and still be okay when the water subsides.

Courageously Accepting the Journey

Calling a therapist or coming to a counseling session means that you have the courage to take care of yourself in a new way. You are not giving up or giving in. You are accepting the journey and taking steps toward a new path. You are taking care of your mind and body just like you would a broken leg.

If you had a broken leg would you hobble around and hope that it heals well enough for you to walk again? You want to keep walking, right? Science has proven that emotional and mental issues are as real as having a broken leg and that difficult life events change your brain, the way you think and the way you perceive the world around you.

Here’s the beauty in therapy! Therapy can change your brain.

Therapy can:

Change the way you think

Change the way you perceive the world around you

Change the way your brain processes life events

It can change you and your abilities

As you move through the therapy process you will notice that the waves of pain seem a little lighter, it’s a bit easier to get up in the morning, and you might even feel like joining the conversation.

You start to believe in YOU and what your path will look like.

You start to see the calm of the seas after the storm.

And I am here to help you find your way. Call today and get your feet wet. The water is warm.

About Kendra Davis

Who is Kendra Davis?

I am a survivor.

I am a fighter.

I am a woman who has survived many of my own personal battles.

I know what it feels like to be so buried in the depths of depression that life seems too hard to live anymore.

I sought therapy, and I learned how to change the way I think. I learned how to see the world with new eyes. I learned how to find my joy.

Kendra Today

One of the sweetest moments in every one of my days is knowing I get to help you find this same joy. I get to listen to your story and support you in creating the life you deserve.
